HC Juli Fulks names Ellis as Asst. Director of WBB Operations
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall Women's Basketball Coach Juli Fulks announced the hiring of Brianna Ellis to the 2024-25 Thundering Herd staff on Wednesday.
Ellis will serve as the assistant director of women's basketball operations for the Thundering Herd.
"We are very excited to add Bri to our Marshall coaching staff," Fulks said. "She brings a range of experiences – from athletic development to operations – and we are excited to blend her unique skill sets into our program."
Ellis joins Marshall from Tennessee Tech where she served as the director of operations over the past two seasons. While at Tennessee Tech, Ellis oversaw all travel and logistical aspects of the program, coordinated recruiting visits, and served as a liaison in community outreach.
Prior to her time at Tennessee Tech, Ellis served as assistant director of athletic development at Missouri State where she helped execute events and ceremonies geared toward holistically building the bond between community and athletics while raising funds to enhance various sport programs.
In addition to her work in development, Ellis also served as a radio host and ESPN+ color commentator for Missouri State men's and women's basketball games while also co-hosting the weekly coaches show there.
Ellis was a four-year player at Missouri State, graduating in May 2021 with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism. She is also pursuing her Master's Degree in Communications.
