HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall University softball Head Coach Morgan Zerkle announced the addition of four transfer portal signees prior to the start of the 2024-25 athletics year.

The four newcomers - Haleigh Adkins, Jules King, Paige Maynard, and Paige Simpson - join the seven incoming freshmen who were formally signed on NSD last November, bringing the roster total to 24 as of July 2024.

"I am excited to add these talented players to our team," Zerkle said. "Paige Maynard and Haleigh Adkins are athletes I've followed for a very long time, so I'm happy to have them home with the Herd. Jules King has had a dream of playing at Marshall since she was a kid, and Paige Simpson is coming a long way from Canada for an opportunity to join this special family. They will all add great depth and contribute positively to our culture of building strong, confident winners on and off the field."
