Kochan Finishes Tied For 10th At Tot Hill Farm Invitational

Marshall moves up one spot, ends up sixth in team standings
ASHEBORO, N.C. – Marshall junior Olivia Kochan completed a successful tournament at the Tot Hill Farm Invitational, earning a tied for 10th place at the event hosted by the College of Charleston.
Kochan shot a 1-over 73 in the final round – her second such round of the tournament – and finished at 6-over for the week.
Kochan saved her best play for the final stretch in the tournament, going 1-under over her final seven holes with a birdie on No. 7 that helped move her into the top-10.
As a team, Marshall moved up to finish sixth in the event's final standings.
In addition to Kochan, Savannah Hawkins continued her trend of getting better with each round, shooting a 2-over 74 to finish tied for 22nd overall in the tournament.
Marshall Women's Golf will play next in the Butler Fall Invitational in Indianapolis, Indiana from Sept. 30-Oct. 1.
