Marshall’s Brooklyn Ulrich Named to D1 Softball’s D100 Player Rankings

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall redshirt-junior infielder Brooklyn Ulrich was named by D1Softball Monday as the 84th ranked player in its Preseason D100 Player Rankings.
Ulrich roared to the forefront of the Herd offense last season, leading the team with a .349 average, 69 hits, and was tied atop the Sun Belt Conference lead with 48 RBI alongside teammate Bella Gerlach.
"This is a much deserved recognition for Brooklyn as she had a breakout season in 2024," Head Coach Morgan Zerkle said. "She has matured and developed even more since last season. I look for her to lead this team towards a championship."
Ulrich was named to the All-Sun Belt Conference First Team last season and the NFCA First Team All-Region.
