HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Men's Basketball team (8-8, 1-2 SBC) prepares to close out a four-game stand with contests against the James Madison Dukes (9-6, 2-1 SBC) on Thursday and the Georgia Southern Eagles (8-7, 1-2 SBC) on Saturday. Opening tip against JMU is set for 7 p.m. with Saturday's start against the Eagles slated for 4 p.m.

- Marshall split a pair of home games last weekend defeating Texas State Thursday and falling to Troy on Saturday.
- Obinna Anochili-Killen registered a pair of double-figure scoring games with 19 against the Bobcats and 17 against the Trojans. He currently sits 13th in the nation with 13 blocks this season.
- At 4.6 assists per game, Dezayne Mingo ranks second in the Sun Belt Conference.
ABOUT THE DUKES
- JMU enters Thursday on a three-game winning streak after picking up victories over Southern Miss and Arkansas State at home last week.
- The Dukes rank second in rebound margin in the conference as they outrebound their opponents by 6.5 boards per contest.
- James Madison also holds the second-best three-point shooting percentage in the league at 35.9 percent.Â
ABOUT THE EAGLES
- Georgia Southern split its games last weekend taking a matchup over ULM and falling to South Alabama.
- The Eagles start their week tomorrow (Jan. 8) at Georgia State before coming to Huntington on Saturday.
