Borders earns top-25 finish at Forest Oaks
GREENSBORO, N.C. – Marshall wrapped up play at the 2025 UNCG Collegiate on Tuesday afternoon at Forest Oaks Golf Course in Greensboro, N.C.
Madison Borders led the way for the Herd, earning a 25th place finish, highlighted by an Even-par 72 in the second round on Monday.
In the round, Borders finished with four birdies, including consecutive birdies on Nos. 4 and 5 to aid her round.
In addition to Borders' solid round, Savannah Hawkins had a strong final round effort with three birdies en route to a 2-over 74 on the day.
Maddi Hudson also had 15 holes of par or better in the second round during a 3-over 75 that highlighted her effort.
The Herd Women's Golf team will return to North Carolina next week to wrap up their fall season at the FBCI Invitational in Arden, N.C., in an event hosted by UNC Asheville.
