HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall Women's Basketball opens its 2025-26 regular season Monday evening at 6 p.m. from the Cam Henderson Center against Buffalo.

COACH JULI FULKS

  • Head Coach Juli Fulks is in year two leading Marshall's Women's Basketball program. Fulks came to the Herd with a prestigious 400 wins while leading Transylvania to the 2022-23 DIII National Championship. 
  • Fulks and the Herd set a program record with four postseason wins in its run during the 2025 Sun Belt Women's Basketball Championship.

ABOUT THE BULLS

  • Buffalo won 30 games in 2024-25, en route to winning the WNIT Championship. The Bulls however return only two players from last season.  
  • Head Coach Kristen Sharkey makes her debut as leader of UB Monday. The former Syracuse associate coach was a Buffalo assistant for seven seasons. 
  • Marshall leads the all-time series, 11-5. Monday will be the first matchup between the two sides since the 2004-05 season as conference foes.
