HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – For the first time since the 2006-07 season, Marshall Women's Basketball (2-1) hosts a ranked foe when the No. 23/20 Kentucky Wildcats (4-0) visit the Cam Henderson Center at 1 p.m. Saturday.

COACH JULI FULKS
- Head Coach Juli Fulks is in year two leading Marshall's Women's Basketball program. Fulks came to the Herd with a prestigious 400 wins while leading Transylvania to the 2022-23 DIII National Championship.
- Fulks and the Herd set a program record with four postseason wins in its run during the 2025 Sun Belt Women's Basketball Championship.
PREGAME NOTES
- The Herd has eight returners entering in 2025-26. Among the leaders in returning production is senior Meredith Maier, who was named Preseason All-SBC Third Team last month.
- Six newcomers joined MU at the start of this season - including four transfers and two freshmen. Of the four transfers, the lone senior is Timaya Lewis-Eutsey. The transfer from VCU was a 2023-24 All-Atlantic 10 Third Team selection, and leads the Herd with 12 steals this year.
- Marshall is forcing its opponents into 24.7 turnovers per game. The Herd recorded 18 steals against Indiana Tuesday night, its most in a road game since Dec. 15, 2023 (Jacksonville).
- The last ranked opponent the Herd faced at the Henderson Center was No. 1 Maryland on Nov. 29, 2006, a game the Terrapins won 68-49.
- The last ranked opponent Marshall took on was a Kenny Brooks-led Virginia Tech side in the First Round of the 2024 NCAA Tournament.
- The Herd defeated its most recent SEC opponent to visit the Cam Henderson Center. MU took down Florida on Dec. 2, 2023 (91-88).
- UK leads the all-time series, 15-5. Saturday will be the first game between the two sides at the Cam Henderson Center since the 2004-05 season. The Herd has come away victorious in three of the eight all-time matchups in Huntington.

ABOUT THE WILDCATS
- Kentucky is 4-0, ranked No. 23 in Week 2 of the AP Top 25 Poll and No. 20 in the Coaches Poll. The Wildcats are averaging 87.5 PPG.
- Head Coach Kenny Brooks is in year two in Lexington. He has an overall record of 544-212.
- Junior center Clara Strack is averaging 17.3 PPG and 12.3 rebounds per contest. The 2024-25 SEC Defensive Player of the Year has received a slew of awards ahead of the 2025-26 season including the Lisa Leslie Center of the Year Preseason Top 20 Watch List.
