Herd Men’s Hoops Set for Home Clash Against Mercyhurst on Sunday

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Men's Basketball team (4-1) returns to the court for the second contest of a three-game homestand on Sunday against Mercyhurst. Opening tip is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the Cam Henderson Center.

PRE-GAME NOTES

The Herd got back in the win column with a 98-70 triumph over Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Thursday night.
Jalen Speer registered a double-double with 18 points and 11 assists.
At 23 points, Caleb Hollenbeck tallied a season-high in the win, shooting 8-for-9 from the field, including 7-for-8 from distance.
Bringing up a trio of double-figure scorers was Matt Van Komen with 15 on a 7-for-9 shooting night.

Mercyhurst enters the contest 3-3 after a 76-71 loss to Miami (OH) on Thursday night in Oxford, Ohio.
The Lakers average 71.0 points per game and are shooting 46.6 percent from the field in the team's first six contests.
