Strom Set to Compete at ITA Sectionals in Chapel Hill

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall University Tennis senior Johanna Strom is headed to the ITA Sectionals in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, starting on Thursday.

Strom is one of 32 student-athletes to qualify for the singles tournament and is scheduled for a match against fifth-seeded Liv Hovde of Duke.

The native of Sweden made a run to the quarterfinals of the ITA Atlantic Regional in Blacksburg, Virginia, in October.

The senior sports a 7-4 record this fall.
