HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Men's Basketball team (18-12, 11-6 SBC) is set to close out the regular season against the App State Mountaineers (17-13, 10-7 SBC) for Senior Day on Friday night.
The game is scheduled for a 9 p.m. opening tip on ESPNU, the second nationally televised game from The Cam this season.
The Herd will honor seven players, Obinna Anochili-Killen, Nate Martin, Creighton Thieneman, Cade and Jakob Gibbs, Jalen Speer and Mikal Dawson, on Friday night in a pregame ceremony

PRE-GAME NOTES
- MU enters the final game of the regular season on a three-game winning streak after a win over Old Dominion in the Henderson Center on Tuesday.
- Anochili-Killen enters the contests with 86 blocks, second most in the nation, as he leads the team in scoring at 14.1 points per game. His 56.8 shooting percentage also leads the SBC and ranks 31st nationally.
- Dezayne Mingo has recorded at least 20 points in the last two contests as his 5.1 assists per game sit second in the SBC.
ABOUT THE MOUNTAINEERS
- App State has dropped their last three contests after falling at Georgia Southern, 61-59, on Tuesday.
- The Mountaineers fell 69-59 on Saturday in Boone.
- App ranks second in the conference holding its opponents to just 38.9 percent from the field, ninth best in the country.
- Myles Tate leads his side at 16.0 points and 2.0 assists per game.
