HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall Athletics celebrated a milestone with its highest first day volume of season ticket renewals in program history as 2025 Marshall Football Renewals kicked off on Wednesday.
The first day of 2025 season ticket renewals were nearly three times the first day of renewals in 2024, showing the momentum that first-year head coach Tony Gibson and his staff have built in the first two months in Huntington.
Marshall Football will be in its first year under Gibson, who announced a signing class of 62 new members of the Marshall family on Wednesday during National Signing Day 2025 festivities.
"Since day one, we have said that we will have guys in our program who are committed to Marshall University and who are connected to our program and community," Gibson said. "We announced our signing class on Wednesday and are proud to feature 62 guys who bring talent, passion and a connection to Marshall and the state of West Virginia with them. Marshall Football wants to continue the momentum and make sure Joan C. Edwards Stadium is packed this fall when the Herd takes the field in Gibson's first season at the helm.
