HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The No. 52 Marshall University Tennis team (13-4, 2-3 SBC) fell 4-2 on Saturday to the App State Mountaineer (9-5, 2-3 SBC) in Huntington.

The Herd took the doubles point with a win at No. 3 by Johanna Strom and Nel Van Hout along with a victory at No. 1 by Emma Vanderheyden and Alina Mokrynskaya.

Nour El Ouazzani captured a straight sets win at No. 6, including not dropping a game in the first set.
Â
Four of the other five singles contests went to three sets.
