2025 Marshall Cross Country Schedule Announced

Season opens with the home Thundering Herd Invitational on August 29
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Cross Country program revealed its 2025 schedule Wednesday with six meets scheduled for head coach Caleb Bowen's Herd.
The season opens with the third-annual Thundering Herd XC Invitational at the Kennedy Center YMCA Complex in Barboursville on Friday, Aug. 29. More information on the meet can be found, HERE.
"We are extremely excited to release our cross country schedule for the upcoming season," Coach Bowen said. "We'll have the opportunity to race at home once again to start off the season and then from then on our every meet is a big meet. I believe both men and women's teams are going to be much closer together and ready to make the moves to compete at the highest level at the conference championship."
Marshall competes at the Southern Showcase, Louisville, and Bowling Green in the season's other three regular season meets before the Sun Belt Cross Country Championships again convene in Foley, Alabama on Oct. 31.
Senior Hannah Wyler returns as a first-time Cross Country Sun Belt All-Conference member following her ninth place finish at last season's championships.
Junior Brady Dawkins returns as last season's top conference finisher on the men's side. The top-four men from the 2024 SBC Championships return in 2025.

Sept. 12 - Southern Showcase (hosted by Jacksonville State in Huntsville, Alabama)
Oct. 4 - Louisville Classic
Oct. 17 - Bowling Green Falcon Invite
Oct. 31 - Sun Belt Conference Cross Country Championship - Foley, Alabama
Nov. 14 - NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional - Lehigh, Pennsylvania
