NEW ORLEANS - The All-Academic Teams for the 2025 NCAA DI Track and Field seasons were announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Monday, with both the Marshall men's and women's programs being honored as team recipients.
"Academic success is and always will be a priority in our program," Director of Track & Field/Cross Country Keith Roberts said. "I am fortunate to have a group of student-athletes who value their education at such a level. I am appreciative of our academic support staff and my assistant coaches for their role in mentoring our group. Winning in the classroom is a team effort!"
Additionally, two individuals - Lara Check and Addison Painter - were honored as All-Academic Athletes by the USTFCCCA.Â
Check, Painter and Kylee Mastin were named CSC All-Academic Athletes last month.Â
For teams to be honored by the USTFCCCA, the cumulative GPA for all student-athletes on the program's "squad list" must be 3.0 or higher.Â
For individuals to be honored, they must have a minimum of a 3.25 cumulative GPA and compete at the Indoor/Outdoor NCAA Track and Field Championships.
Both men's and women's Marshall cross country teams earned All-Academic status last fall as well.Â
