HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Volleyball team is set to begin to the 2025 season at the Highlander Invitational on Friday in Radford, Virginia.

PRE-MATCH NOTES
  • MU is under first-year Head Coach Heather Stout heading into the team's first matches of the season.
  • The roster features 10 returners and eight newcomers in 2025.
  • The Herd returns Audrey Geer, the team's 2024 leader in points (342.5) and kills (299), and Beatrice Ciccarelli, MU's leader with 110 blocks (24 solo) during the 2024 season.
 
SCOUTING KANSAS CITY
  • The Roos finished 2024 with a 6-22 record and picked to finish eighth in the Summit League Preseason Coaches Poll.
  • Ledisi Kpea and Kailee Deffebaugh were named to the Summit League Players to Watch list.
 
SCOUTING EMU
  • The Eagles were tabbed to finish eighth in the Mid-American Conference Preseason Coaches Poll.
  • Hatteras Welker was named to the Preseason All-MAC Team.
 
SCOUTING RADFORD
  • The Highlanders are hosting the weekend tournament.
  • Radford finished the 2024 season with a 10-17 record and picked fifth in the 2025 Big South Preseason Coaches Poll.
