Marshall Softball Announces 2025 Fall Schedule

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall Softball returns to the field this fall with 11 games across 10 dates, the team announced Thursday.
Head Coach Morgan Zerkle's team will play eight of its fall games from Dot Hicks Field. "Team 33" begins preparation for the 2026 season starting on Saturday, Sept. 20 against West Virginia State. The fall schedule will culminate with the team's Home Run Derby and Intrasquad scrimmage on Sunday, Oct. 26.
The Herd finished with 31 wins and a second-place regular season finish in the Sun Belt Conference in 2025.

Friday, October 17th vs UC, 5 p.m. (10 innings)
Friday, October 24th, 6 p.m. - Herd Halloween Intrasquad Game 1
Saturday, October 25th, 1 p.m. - Herd Halloween Intrasquad Game 2
Sunday, October 26th, 12 p.m. - Home Run Derby followed by Herd Halloween Intrasquad Game 3
