CINCINNATI, Ohio – Marshall University Tennis sophomore Alina Mokrynskaya concluded the Pam Whitehead Invitational a perfect 3-0 at No. 1 singles being named the tournament's MVP in singles.
 
The native of Ukraine took down Miami (OH)'s Oliveira on Friday, with wins over Cincinnati's Wtanabe and Louisville's Davis on Saturday.
 
Freshman Thalia Smith earned her first collegiate win on Friday over Miami (OH)'s Risner.
 
In doubles, Smith and Meredith Riley picked up a victory over the Lousiville pairing of Noguero/Gallegos.
