HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The No. 6 Marshall University Men's Soccer team (3-0-3) heads to Richmond, Virginia, for a contest against the Virginia Commonwealth Rams (3-3-2) Wednesday night at 7 p.m.

- The Herd started Sun Belt Conference play with a 2-1 win over Coastal Carolina at Hoops Family Field on Friday.
- Rai Pinto and David de la Vibora each tallied their second goal of the season in the victory.
- The pair joined Larry Noel, Joao Roberto, Thiago Apolinario and MoMo Diop with two Ibrahim and Andrey Salermon have tallied two goals with Lucas White sitting at a team-high two assists.
- Trevor Maloney has started seven of the team's eight contests registering 20 saves and a pair of clean sheets.
