Marshall Women’s Golf Starts Season At Tribe Invitational

Herd opens fall season at Kingsmill Resort in Virginia
WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Marshall Women's Golf is ready to open its 2025 fall season this week, making a trip to Williamsburg, Va., to compete in the Tribe Invitational at Kingsmill Resort.
Hosted by William & Mary, the Tribe Invitational features 54 holes at Kingsmill Resort's River Course, which is a par-72 that reaches 5,924 yards.
"We are excited to get the 2025-26 season going next week at Kingsmill Resort," Marshall Women's Golf coach Brooke Burkhammer said. "It should be an awesome week for the Herd."
Action gets underway at 8:30 a.m. on Monday morning as golfers take the course for 36 holes of action. The final round of action gets started at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
Competing this week for the Herd in the team portion of the event are Olivia Kochan, Savannah Hawkins, Taylor Sargent, Madison Borders and Maddi Hudson. Abbey Bull will compete as an individual.
Teams joining Marshall in the tournament include Maryland Eastern Shore, Queens (NC), Richmond, Providence and hosts William & Mary.
