Marshall Women’s Basketball Returns Home Wednesday for Crucial Showdown with Troy

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – After a lengthy road trip, Marshall Women's Basketball (17-5, 8-2 SBC) returns to the Cam Henderson Center to host Troy (16-4, 7-2 SBC) Wednesday evening at 6 p.m.

COACH JULI FULKS
- Head Coach Juli Fulks is in year two leading Marshall's Women's Basketball program. Fulks came to the Herd with a prestigious 400 wins while leading Transylvania to the 2022-23 DIII National Championship.
- Fulks and the Herd set a program record with four postseason wins in its run during the 2025 Sun Belt Women's Basketball Championship.
PREGAME NOTES
- Marshall won both its games last week despite the challenge presented by the winter storm of having played two games 200 miles apart within 24 hours of each other. Under Coach Fulks, the Herd is 5-1 when having played the previous day.
- Senior Timaya Lewis-Eutsey is 2nd in the Sun Belt Conference in scoring with 17.2 PPG. Lewis-Eutsey leads the league with 3.5 steals per contest.
- The Herd is 10-1 this season at the Cam Henderson Center. MU is also 12-0 when leading at halftime this year.

ABOUT THE TROJANS
- Troy enters the week as one of three teams with two league losses, joining the Herd and Georgia Southern chasing Arkansas State.
- The Trojans lead the SBC by a sizable margin in scoring offense, averaging 84.4 PPG. The Herd is 2nd in scoring defense, allowing 61.6 PPG.
- Seniors Fortuna Ngnawo and Zay Dyer pace the Trojans with 14.7 and 13.7 PPG respectively. Troy has five players averaging double figures in scoring. Dyer (12.1) and Ngnawo (10.0) are also the top two leaders in rebounding in the conference.
- Troy has won all three of the contests between the two sides.
