HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Tennis Team prepares for a pair of matches this week starting at Wake Forest on Friday before hosting Bowling Green for the team's home opener on Sunday against Bowling Green.

Marshall participated in the ITA Team Indoor National Championship last weekend in Baton Rouge.

The Herd fell to No. 5 LSU and No. 24 UCF.

MU led on courts one through three with Johanna Strom, Polina Gumeniuk and Alina Mokrynska, respectively, before the match was called against the Golden Knights.

Gumeniuk and Mokrynska also led LSU's pair of Australian Open qualifiers at number one doubles before the doubles point was called.
