COACH JULI FULKS
- Head Coach Juli Fulks is in year two leading Marshall's Women's Basketball program. Fulks came to the Herd with a prestigious 400 wins while leading Transylvania to the 2022-23 DIII National Championship.
- Fulks and the Herd set a program record with four postseason wins in its run during the 2025 Sun Belt Women's Basketball Championship.
PREGAME NOTES
- Marshall's Timaya Lewis-Eutsey enters Saturday at 988 points in her collegiate career. She is second in the league in scoring, averaging 17.2 PPG this season. Her career-high 33 point performance Wednesday was the senior's second 30+ point performance of the season, fourth game with 20 or more, and 13th double digit game this year.
- Lewis-Eutsey is also leading the SBC with 3.5 steals per contest. Not far behind is senior Peyton Ilderton with 2.3 swipes per game (6th in SBC). The Logan native had a career-high seven steals in Wednesday's victory
- MU's 14-3 start is its best 17-game open to the season since 1986-87, when Coach Southard's Herd went 24-5 en route to a Co-Southern Conference regular season title.
- A win would mark the first 10-game winning streak for the Herd since the 2023-24 season when MU had two separate such streaks. Prior to that season, it had been since the 2004-05 season when the Herd accomplished that feat, winning 12 in a row.

ABOUT THE CHANTICLEERS
- Coastal Carolina broke through with its first conference victory with a 69-53 win at App State Wednesday. Coastal's Head Coach Kevin Pederson has a 501-246 record in his 25-season career.
- Leading scorer Kristin Williams notched 20 when the two sides met on New Year's Day with five made 3-pointers. The graduate senior guard is leading the league with 58 made triples and a .457 clip from behind the arc.
- Marshall leads the all-time series, 8-5. The Herd's New Year's Day win on the teal court snapped the Chants' two-game winning streak in the series.
