HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Tennis Team (5-3) is set to close out a four-match homestand on Friday against West Virginia and a road contest at Penn State on Sunday.

Marshall enters the weekend on a three-match winning streak after a pair of wins over Cleveland State and VCU on February 6 and 8, respectively.
Polina Gumeniuk is 4-0 in singles with all matches being played at the number two position.
The doubles pairing of Paula Berzina and Sarah Copley took both of their doubles contests over the Vikings and Rams.
At the number one position in singles, Johanna Strom is 3-1, including taking her last three matches. Thalia Smith has also captured wins in her last three singles matches.
