LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Marshall University Tennis team (5-6) dropped its contest by a narrow 4-3 decision on Friday to the Liberty Flames in Lynchburg, Virginia.

"Looking forward to tomorrow. Some outdoor tennis will be nice," Herd Tennis Head Coach John Mercer said.

After falling in doubles, the Herd picked up three wins in singles.
Â
Johanna Strom took her match at number one singles with Polina Gumeniuk taking her match at number two and Alina Mokrynska captured a win at number three.
