HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall Women's Basketball (19-6, 10-3 SBC) takes a break from league play for the second leg of the MAC-SBC Challenge to face Central Michigan (14-7, 8-3 MAC). Tip is set for 1 p.m. Saturday.

COACH JULI FULKS
- Head Coach Juli Fulks is in year two leading Marshall's Women's Basketball program. Fulks came to the Herd with a prestigious 400 wins while leading Transylvania to the 2022-23 DIII National Championship.
- Fulks and the Herd set a program record with four postseason wins in its run during the 2025 Sun Belt Women's Basketball Championship.
PREGAME NOTES
- Marshall defeated Buffalo in Huntington to open the 2025-26 season in the first leg of the MAC-SBC Challenge. The Sun Belt went 8-5 in the 13 matchups between the two leagues on Nov. 3.
- Senior Timaya Lewis-Eutsey is 2nd in the SBC with 18.1 PPG. Wednesday was Lewis-Eutsey's 20th double digit performance of the season.
- The Herd is 6-4 on the road this season.

ABOUT THE CHIPPEWAS
- Central Michigan was coincidentally Marshall's opponent in the second leg of last season's MAC-SBC Challenge. Prior to last season, the two sides had not met since the 2004-05 season. The series is tied, 5-5.
- Central Michigan's Madi Morson leads the MAC in scoring with 19.1 PPG.
- The Chippewas are currently 4th in the MAC.
