Marshall Women’s Golf Starts Play At Colonel Classic

Action Underway Monday at The University Club At Arlington
RICHMOND, Ky. – Marshall Women's Golf is back on the course on Monday, taking part in the 2026 Colonel Classic, hosted by Eastern Kentucky.
Marshall is one of 10 teams competing in the 54-hole event, which got started on Monday morning with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
Participants are playing 36 holes on Monday prior to the final round on Tuesday morning at 9 a.m.
Competing for the Herd this week are Olivia Kochan, Savannah Hawkins, Abbey Bull, Maddi Hudson and Madison Borders. Taylor Sargent will compete as an individual.
The Herd is back playing close to home after competing at the MountainView Collegiate in Arizona last week. That tournament featured four nationally-ranked teams.
In that tournament, Kochan had an Even-par 72 in the second round while Hawkins notched an Even-par 72 in the tournament's final round, giving them momentum heading into this week's action.
