Herd Women’s Basketball Travels to Arkansas State for WNIT Fab 4

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall Women's Basketball (26-9) will face a familiar foe in the WNIT Fab 4, traveling to face the Arkansas State Red Wolves (27-9). Wednesday evening's semifinal will tip at 8 p.m. eastern, 7 p.m. locally.
The winner will face the victor of Illinois State and South Dakota on Saturday at 3 p.m. eastern at a location to be determined. The full bracket can be viewed HERE.

COACH JULI FULKS
- Head Coach Juli Fulks is in year two leading Marshall's Women's Basketball program. Fulks came to the Herd with a prestigious 400 wins while leading Transylvania to the 2022-23 DIII National Championship.
- Fulks and the Herd oversaw a seven win conference improvement in 2025-26, and eight more wins to this point from year one to year two.
PREGAME NOTES
- Marshall tied a program record with its 26th win Monday evening over Army West Point (2023-24). The Herd shut out the Black Knights in the final quarter, turning a four point deficit into a 17 point route. Marshall has twice shut out an opponent in the final quarter this season after doing the same to EKU in December, marking the first two occasions in program history MU has prevented a team from scoring in a period.
- Timaya Lewis-Eutsey led Marshall with 23 points Monday, her 15th game with 20+ points this season. The senior transfer's 683 points this season are the most by a Marshall player this century, trailing only MU Hall of Famer Karen Pelphrey's three seasons of 700+ points from 1983-86.
- Although Wednesday's contest will not count towards Sun Belt Conference records for the Herd and Red Wolves, Marshall went 5-3 in SBC road games in 2025-26.

ABOUT THE RED WOLVES
- Arkansas State is 27-9 this season, going 14-4 in the SBC this season. The Red Wolves fell in the SBC Semifinals to Troy.
- A-State ended the 2025-26 regular season with 468 steals, ranking 5th nationally, a mark that set a SBC record.
- Marshall defeated A-State on Valentine's Day in Huntington by a 62-54 scoreline. The Herd leads the all-time series, 4-1.
