Herd Tennis Closes Regular Season Against Miami (OH) for Senior Day

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Tennis Team (11-10) is set for Senior Day on Friday against Miami (OH) at the Brian David Fox Tennis Center.

SENIOR DAY
The team will honor Katy Limanen and Johanna Strom in a pre-match ceremony for their contributions to the program on Friday.

The Herd took its contest 5-2 over Dayton at home on Sunday.

Strom is 10-3 this spring in singles, including 9-3 at the number one position. The native of Stockholm, Sweden, sits in the top 10 in program history with 85 singles wins, top 15 with 151 overall wins and top 25 with 66 doubles victories.

At the number two singles position, Polina Gumeniuk sits with 11-2 record during the spring.

Alina Mokrynska sports a 12-4 record at number three in 2026.
