HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall Football fans are invited to one of the premier offseason events of the year as the Marshall Quarterback Club hosts its annual Reverse Raffle on Saturday, August 15.
The evening brings together Thundering Herd supporters for dinner, fellowship, exciting raffle prizes and stories from four former Marshall greats who went on to play in the NFL, all while supporting Marshall Football.
"The Reverse Raffle continues to be one of our favorite traditions because it brings together generations of Marshall fans in support of our football program," said Mark George, President of the Marshall Quarterback Club. "Whether you're a longtime supporter or attending for the first time, it's always a memorable night that celebrates what makes Marshall Football so special."
Limited tickets remain for the 2026 Marshall Football Quarterback Club Reverse Raffle as the event is once again expected to sell out, continuing a tradition of tremendous support from Herd fans.

Each event ticket includes:

- Access to an unforgettable evening with Marshall Football legends and supporters
- Opportunities to participate in additional games and fundraising activities throughout the evening
This year's featured speakers include:
John Wade – A standout offensive lineman at Marshall who helped anchor the Herd's historic success before enjoying an eight-year NFL career with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Detroit Lions.
Chris Massey – One of the NFL's premier long snappers for more than a decade, Massey played collegiately at Marshall before spending 12 seasons with the St. Louis Rams.
Nate Poole – A Marshall wide receiver remembered by football fans nationwide for his memorable NFL career, including his game-winning touchdown that eliminated the Minnesota Vikings from playoff contention in the 2003 regular season finale.
Jason Starkey – Former Marshall offensive lineman and nationally recognized motivational speaker whose inspiring story of perseverance has impacted audiences across the country.
The Reverse Raffle serves as one of the Quarterback Club's signature fundraising events, with proceeds directly benefiting Marshall Football and helping provide resources for the continued success of the program.
