Madison Borders Earns Top-15 Finish At Rocket Classic

Second straight tournament in which Ky. Product has been near top of leaderboard
SYLVANIA, Ohio – Marshall's Madison Borders continued her strong play to the Fall 2026 season for Marshall Women's Golf this week.
Borders earned her second straight top-15 finish to start the fall, finishing T-14 in the Rocket Classic, hosted by Toledo at Highland Meadows Country Club on Tuesday.
The Bardstown, Ky., native's top round of the week came on Tuesday afternoon when she had three birdies en route to a 2-over 73 that was the Herd's best outing of the tournament.
Borders collected birdies on Nos. 7, 11 and 16 with the birdie on the par-3 11th hole being the only birdie on the hole from any competitor on Tuesday.
Maddi Hudson also led the Herd in scoring in each of Monday's rounds and finished in the top-30, tying for 29th.
Marshall returns to action on Sept. 28-29 at the Duquesne Dukes Invitational in Pittsburgh, Pa.
