A three-year starter at Morgantown High where he was twice named First-Team Class AAA All-State and All-Morgantown Dominion Post...Helped Morgantown to two state football championships and was the 2003 runner-up for the Hunt Award (best lineman in West Virginia)...Caught 20 passes for 305 yards and two touchdowns as a senior...Selected for the West Virginia North-South All-Star game.
