2005 (Junior):
Played in all 11 games on special teams...Had two punt returns for 10 yards against UAB...In that same game, Clark blocked two punts that led to Marshall scores in the Herd[apos]s 20-19 homecoming win over UAB...Clark set up the first touchdown with his block late in the first half...With Marshall trailing 10-7, his second block set up the go-ahead touchdown in the third quarter...For his efforts, Clark was named the Conference USA Special Teams Co-Player of the Week for Oct. 17.
2004 (Sophomore):
Was named MAC East Division Special Teams Player of the Week following the win over Buffalo...Blocked two punts, one that was recovered for a Marshall touchdown and recorded two tackles against the Bulls...Credited with three tackles on the season on special teams.
2003 (Redshirt Freshman):
Saw limited time as a reserve defensive back and recorded his first career tackle - a solo stop - in the home opener against Hofstra.
2002 (Freshman):
Redshirted, did not play.
High School:
Played for coach Recco Greenhow at Amelia County High...Earned four letters in track and two in basketball...Recorded 84 total tackles, including 54 solo, during his senior season to earn district defensive player of the year honors...Recorded 10 pass break ups, six interceptions, forced two fumbles and had a sack...On offense he had 188 carries for 1,210 yards and 10 touchdowns and completed 31 of 43 passes for 567 yards and five touchdowns...Returned 19 punts for 515 yards and three scores...Accounted for 2,292 all-purpose yards during senior season...As a junior he recorded 50 tackles and five interceptions while passing for 1,114 yards and 10 scores...Was twice named All-District as a quarterback, three times as a defensive back and once as a punt returner...Twice named All-Region and All-State as a defensive back...Was All-District and All-Region as a receiver as a sophomore...A three-time district track champion and team regional champion...Helped squad to a state-runner-up finish in track in 2001...All-district, All-Region and All-State in the 300 meter hurdles, 4x400 relay, and 4x100 relay for three straight years.
