2005 (Junior):
Was the Herd[apos]s placekicker as a junior last season and was in charge of the kickoff duties...Finished the year 7-for-14, while averaging 59.4 yards per kickoff...Went 1-for-2 with a 28-yard field goal in the Herd[apos]s 36-24 season-opening win vs. William & Mary...Chipped in a pair of field goals against Kansas State, including a season-long 44-yarder...O[apos]Connor missed five of his last nine field goals to end the season...His only block of the season came against Southern Miss on Nov. 8...Ended the season on a positive note, connecting on his last two kicks of the season.

2004 (Sophomore):
A three-time MAC East Special Teams Player-of-the-Week...Handled all of the kicking duties for Marshall...Averaged 40.4 yards per punt with a long of 67 yards...Had 11 punts of more than 50 yards and 17 were downed inside the 20...Went 14-of-19 on field goal attempts with a long of 52 yards...Was 31-of-33 on extra point attempts...Handled all kickoffs (63) and 24 of those were touchbacks...Marshall[apos]s leading scorer with 73 points...Also recorded four solo tackles on special teams.

2003 (Freshman):
Handled kickoff duties in all 12 games for the Thundering Herd as a true freshman...Recorded two special teams tackles on the year.

High School:
Played for coach Gary Shephard at Halls High where he also lettered for four years in soccer...Connected on 17 of 21 field goals as a senior, including a school-record 52 yarder...Set a state record by connecting on five field goals in one game...Placed 30 of his 33 kickoffs into the end zone, including six that went through the uprights...Was 10 of 12 on field goal attempts during his junior season...As a junior he was named to the all-Region and All-Knoxville teams in football and to the All-District and All-Region teams in soccer...As a senior he was named All-region, academic all-region, All-Knoxville, All-East Tennessee and All-state...Won the John Mauer Award from the Optimist Club of Knoxville and won the Kia Sportage Award from the Titans Radio Network as the Athlete of the Year...Inducted into the Knoxville Sports Hall of Fame...Played in the Tennessee East-West Shrine Game...Was a member of DECA and attended Boys State.

Born on Aug. 6, 1985...Son of Renee and Bob O[apos]Connor...Has two brothers, Logan (15) and Austin (11)...Has an uncle, Grad Wright, who played football at Austin Peay, and an aunt, Patty Wright, who played volleyball at Austin Peay...Majoring in biological science.
