2014: Competed at six events for the Herd with his season-best time of 21:12 at the Tommy Events CC Invitational ( Sept. 4) ... helped lead the Herd with a time of 25:07, placing third at the Cross Country National Invitational (Oct. 17) ... at the Conference USA Championship, he led the team with a time of 25:19 (Nov. 1) ... named to the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll.
2013: Competed in all five meets for the Herd and ran a season best 21:29.00 at the Tommy Evans CC Invitational (Sept. 5) ...Also helped lead the way for the Herd with a time of 26:13.60, placing ninth as they captured an overall win at the Evansville Invitational (Oct 19.) ...At theMid-Atlantic Regionals (Nov.15) he finished 111th with atime of 32:58.
2012: Bowen competed in all six fall meets for the Thundering Herd, including an appearance in the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals ... His strongest finish of the season came at the Evansville Invitational by being the 11th (Oct. 13) to cross the finish line in a time of 26:26.08 ... An 18th place finish at the Tommy Evans Invitational (Sept. 6) was his second best of the season.
2011: Competed in all six of the Herd's races... Ran a 10k time of 33:37.5 at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional to finish 126th out of 183 runners... Finished 40th out of 62 athletes at the C-USA Championships with an 8k time of 26:37.7... Finished 34th out of 122 runners at the Evansville Invitational with an 8k mark of 26:59.42... Posted a season-best 8k time of 26:23.35 at the Louisville Classic... C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll... C-USA Academic Medal
