Started all 19 games for the Thundering Herd … Named second-team All-Conference USA … Was Marshall's leading scorer at 17.0 points per game, to go with her team-high 36 3-pointers … Finished the season as the conference's sixth-leading scorer … Was third in the conference in free throw percentage (85.3), actually leading in league-only tilts (87.5 percent) … Set career-highs with 18 free throws made and 35 points against Old Dominion on February 6 … Tied for eighth in the league with seven 20+ point scoring efforts.

Turned in one of the program's best freshman campaigns in recent memory, garnering Conference USA All-Freshman team honors at season's end ... The only freshman nationally to rank in the top 40 in free throws made (T-37th, 130) and free throw percentage (40th, 83.9) ... Led Marshall in scoring per game (13.4), field goals (113), free throws (130), assists per game (2.8) and steals per game (1.4) ... Scored 25 points in the Feb. 1 win over Florida Atlantic, the most of any Marshall player all season ... Dished seven assists against Bowling Green (Dec. 7) and made 13 free throws versus Southern Miss (March 11) in the first round of the Conference USA Tournament, which was C-USA Tourney program record ... Had five 3-pointers against Norfolk State (Nov. 9) and five steals against Evansville (Nov. 24) ... Was named C-USA Freshman of the Week twice.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Boyd County High School … Played for coach Pete Fraley father of former Herd player Logan Fraley … Honored as the 2019 Kentucky’s Miss Basketball after averaging 31.1 points per game as a senior … Finished prep career with 3,621 points including scoring 947 as a senior, career total is sixth in KHSAA history … Named to the All-Regional Tournament Team 2015-18 and was honored as the MVP in 2017 & 2018 … All State Tournament Team in 2018 … Named All-State three times … Honored as 2018 First Team Lexington Herald-Leader … Named 2018 Second Team Louisville Courier Journal … Honored as All-Area Team 2015-18, Player of the Year in 2018 … Played in the Kentucky and Indiana Junior All-Star, Kentucky and Indiana Senior All-Star, and Ohio and Kentucky All-Star games … Lettered one year in soccer … Named winning 2019 Kentucky Miss Basketball as favorite moment in athletics because, “it was something I’ve always dreamed of.”
 
PERSONAL: Born April 27, 2001 … Daughter of David and Tracy Wheeler … Has one older sister Taylor who played softball for Walters State and then junior and senior seasons at Morehead State recording 73 hits and nine home runs for the Eagles graduating in 2018 … Father played baseball for Morehead State and was named OVC Second Team in 1990, also played 38 games in 1990 for the Billings Mustangs of the Pioneer League in the Cincinnati Reds organization and recorded 16 hits and two home runs … Uncle Brad Taylor played baseball at Morehead State and uncle Todd Borders played baseball for Marshall and led the team in walks in 1992 and 1993 … Chose Marshall because, “it is close to home and the direction the program is going.” … Currently undecided on major.
