HIGH SCHOOL: Liberatore played four years of Basketball at Hempfield Area High School. She had 1,125 career points. Her senior years stats - 19.7 ppg, 7.2 rbs, 5.3 assists, 2,1 steals. She was 2x Big 56 1st Team All-Sections, 4x Big 56 All-Section, 2X Tribune Review Terrific 10 All-Star, Post-Gazette Top 5 in class 6A, 4 year Varsity Starter, 2x Team MVP and 2x Team captain.
She was a 2x US Jr. National Champion and was ranked #25 in PA. She was selected for the PA vs Maryland game, Roundball classic, PBC Roundball Classic top 20 in Western PA.
PERSONAL: Sarah is the daughter of Ellen and Craig Liberatore. She comes from an extremely athletic family where her dad played baseball at Bowling Green and her mom was a swimmer at John Carroll University. She has two brothers, Collin, who played baseball at Indiana State University and Jack who currently plays baseball at Ohio University. Her cousin, Danielle Siverling swam at UNC; her counsin, Megan Silverling swam at Penn State; her aunt, Sharie Rodriquez played tennis at Syracuse; her uncle, Jorge Rodriquez, played football at Syracuse; her uncle, Curt Siverling, played basketball at Grove City; her grandpa, Ralph Liberatore played baseball at Kansas State and her great-grandpa, Joe Hensler was affiliated with the Pittsburgh Pirates. She is originally from Greensburg, Pennsylvania.
