Steve Zemba

Stephen Zemba

Stephen Zemba is a 1975 graduate of Marshall University with a Bachelor's of Business Administration, Finance degree. He met his wife, Sue, at Marshall, where she graduated with a BBA, Accounting degree. After graduation, the couple moved back to Steve's hometown area of Pittsburgh, PA, where he served as the Vice President of Finance and Administration at Munroe Inc. for 32 years prior to retiring in 2012.
 

During Steve's time at Marshall, he was a member of the basketball teams from 1972-1975 and a teammate of Marshall Hall of Fame member, NBA basketball coach, Mike D'Antoni, along with several other basketball greats from that era. Steve is a 50-year, Gold Chapter member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. Zemba is a Trustee for the Big Green Scholarship Foundation, “M” Club member, Past Director/Lead Instructor for USC Little Panthers Basketball Skills Program, USC Girls Basketball and Softball Coach, and AAU Girls Basketball Coach and member of the USC Recreation Association Board.
 

Steve and Sue are the proud parents of two daughters, Alison (Casey) teaches for Pittsburgh Public Schools and has blessed them with 5 beautiful granddaughters – Angela, Ella, Grace, Lizzy and Maggie; and Ashley, a 2012 graduate of Marshall’s Masters Sport Administration program and a Graduate Assistant for two years for Marshall’s Women’s Basketball team.
