HollyAnn Swann began assisting as a volunteer coach with Marshall Cross Country in August 2018 when she enrolled in Marshall's graduate Forensic Science Program. With a year of track eligibility remaining, Swann used her 5th year of eligibility the following spring on the track, as she rewrote the school record books by running record times in the 5K, 10K, and DMR as well as placing 3rd at the 2018 C-USA Outdoor Championship in the 10K, becoming the first Marshall distance athlete to earn All-Conference Honors at the conference outdoor meet.

Since graduating from Marshall with her Master's Degree, she now manages West Virginia’s first Clinical Toxicology Lab at AIT Laboratories. She made her marathon debut at the prestigious 2018 New York City Marathon, while being sponsored by Michelob Ultra running a time of 2:53:04 and placing as the 21st fastest female among a field of 52,000 runners. Since her debut, HollyAnn has lowered her personal record in the marathon to 2:45:47 and has now started racing ultramarathons and trail races winning two out of her first three races.  She is sponsored by Michelob Ultra, Honey Stinger, Nuun, RabbitELITE Trail, and Speedland.

Swann is a native of Susan Moore, Alabama and resides in Huntington with her husband, Chris.
