JUNIOR Season (2011): Was the team[apos]s top pass-catcher, totaling 49 receptions for 668 yards and 12 touchdowns, which tied for second in Conference USA...Named the Most Valuable Player in the Herd[apos]s 20-10 victory over FIU in the Beef `O[apos] Brady[apos]s Bowl. During that contest, the 6-foot-3 Dobson hauled in two touchdown passes of 30-plus yards, including a game-clinching 35-yarder with just 30 seconds remaining...Also had breakout performances in a win over eventual C-USA champion Southern Miss (7 catches, 69 yards, 2 TD), a two-TD showing in a loss at Houston and a masterful game in a bowl bid-clinching, 34-27 overtime win against East Carolina. That day, Dobson dazzled fans with a four-catch, 110-yard performance that saw him race to the end zone with a 77-yard scoring pass on the game[apos]s first play from scrimmage and a leaping, backhanded 13-yard TD grab just before halftime that became a viral social media sensation almost immediately. SOPHOMORE Season (2010): Led the team with 44 catches for 689 yards and five touchdowns...Had a season-high six receptions at Bowling Green and at SMU...Had a season-high 120 receiving yards versus West Virginia, which included an electrifying 96-yard touchdown reception...Had another monster game against UCF, grabbing five passes for 119 yards and two scores...Also caught a touchdown at Southern Miss...Had two carries for 18 yards in the Herd[apos]s rushing attack. FRESHMAN Season (2009): Saw limited action until late in the season when his role expanded...Recorded two catches for 75 yards at UCF and followed that with three catches for 52 yards and his first career TD against Southern Miss...Had four catches for 127 yards and two touchdowns that included a season-long 47-yard catch in the win over SMU...Added four catches for 61 yards and a score at UTEP...Ran the team[apos]s fastest 40-yard dash during the preseason with a 4.33 second time...Was a member of the United States Junior National Team that won the first Junior National World Championship following his standout career at South Charleston High. High School: Chosen to the 2009 USA Football Junior National Team and helped the U-19 Team USA to the first ever World Championship...Three-year varsity member of the football team... A standout performer at South Charleston...Recorded 45 receptions for 1,298 yards and 17 touchdowns as a senior and added seven interceptions on defense...Finished his high school career with 108 receptions, 2,365 yards and 32 touchdowns...Had 10 interceptions, two of which he returned for touchdowns...Member of the 2008 MSAC Championship team and 2008 West Virginia AAA State Championship, which finished with a 14-0 record...First-team AAA All-State...All-MSAC Team...Kanawha Valley Player of the Year...Runner-Up in Kennedy Award voting for state player of the year...Played three years of varsity basketball and one year of track...Member of the 2007 and the 2008 AAA State Runner-Up teams...Two time first-team All-State and two time first-team MSAC for basketball...2008-2009 MSAC Player of the Year.
