SENIOR SEASON (2018 at FIU): Appeared in four games, making three starts before suffering a season ending injury… After making the switch from defensive end to outside linebacker, Silva recorded two sacks, three tackles for loss, one forced fumble, and one quarterback hit in only the first three games… A force as a pass rusher, Silva had a standout game against Miami (9/22) in which he recorded both his sacks, two of his tackles for loss, and his lone forced fumble… Due to an injury in late September, Silva was forced to miss the rest of the season for the Panthers… He finished the year with 11 total tackles, including six solo and five unassisted.
JUNIOR SEASON (2017 at FIU): Appeared in 13 games for the Panthers on the defensive line, starting 11 times... Recorded 50 total tackles including 14 for loss... Tallied seven sacks and six QB hurries... Forced one fumble against Western Kentucky.
