R-JUNIOR SEASON (2020): Backup running back who thrived as one of the leaders of the team … Appeared in nine games with the only start coming in the bowl game … Earned game captain honors seven times in 2020 … Rushed 72 times for 327 yards and four touchdowns … Also caught nine passes for 26 yards … Led the team with 15 kickoff returns for 315 yards … Averaged 21.0 yards per kickoff return … Second on the team to Brenden Knox in all-purpose yardage … Opened the season with eight carries for 32 yards and a touchdown in a win against EKU … Rushed for 33 yards in a win against nationally ranked Appalachian State … Posted a huge game in a win against WKU, rushing 14 times for 64 yards and a touchdown … Rushed for a TD in a win against UMass … Five carries and 39 yards and a touchdown in a win against MT … With reigning Conference USA MVP Brenden Knox out of the lineup, carried the ball a career-high 18 times for a career-best 79 yards in the bowl game vs. Buffalo.
