R-JUNIOR SEASON (2017): Weight room champion saw action in eight games, all starts … Team was 6-2 with him in the starting lineup.
R-SOPHOMORE SEASON (2016): One of the Herd's strongest players ... In July 2016, set the program record for bench press -- all positions -- at 525 pounds ... Played in 12 games, with five starts ... Started five of the last six games of the season ... Saw most of his action at right guard, but started the regular season finale against Western Kentucky at center in place of injured starter Levi Brown ... Named to the 2016-17 C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll (3.0 or greater GPA).
R-FRESHMAN SEASON (2015): Started first collegiate game in opening win over Purdue, but suffered injury and played only four games after that ... Also had offers from Akron, Bowling Green, Buffalo, Cincinnati, Connecticut, Indiana, Ohio and Toledo ... Ranked the No. 7 center in America and the No. 33 overall prospect in Ohio by Rivals ... Committed to Cincinnati in June 2013, but decommitted from the Bearcats and committed to the Thundering Herd 72 hours before National Signing Day, then was first player to fax signed Letter of Intent on Signing Day (Feb. 5, 2014) at 7:18 a.m. ... With the help of his blocking, Washington (9-3) averaged 31.9 points, 152.2 passing yards and 179.4 rushing yards per game in 2013 and advanced to the second round of the Division II state playoffs.
