McWilliams was a Professional Intern at Georgia last season, after serving as New Mexico’s Assistant Director of Athletic Performance from 2016-19.
He spent 2015-16 at Alabama where he was a Professional Intern after a stint as Valdosta State’s Intern from 2013-15.
He began his coaching career at the high school level, where was a strength coach at Valwood and Norcross High Schools.
McWilliams earned a Bachelor of Science from Valdosta State in 2015 where he was a three-year letterman, a Master of Arts in Human Performance from Alabama in 2016 and is pursuing a Master of Science in Sports Administration from New Mexico.
