HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Huntington High School where he was named first team All-Conference...chosen MVP of the Boo Williams Summer Tournament...won the high jump at the West Virginia State Track and Field Championships as a senior despite only taking up event that Spring...played at Wakefield High School in Raleigh, N.C. as a junior where he averaged 20.5 points per game.
PERSONAL: Born Aug. 28, 1990....son of John and Monica Humphrey...a business major...father played for Marshall from 1985-89 and was part of two Southern Conference Championship teams...John Humphrey scored 10 points in Marshall[apos]s appearance in the 1987 NCAA Tournament...Godfather is former Marshall football player and College Football Hall of Famer Troy Brown.
