Appeared in 38 games, started 25 of them, all at second base...had two multi-hit games, including three against South Florida Feb. 11...was a perfect 7-for-7 in stolen bases, with two versus Buffalo Feb. 18... named to C-USA Commissioner[apos]s Honor Roll...honored as a NFC Scholar Athlete.
Prior to Marshall:
Helped Miami Dade College to its first National Junior College Athletic Association Divison I softball title in program history in 2010...in the championship, she went 2-for-4 at the plate and hit at a .385 clip during the tournament while also manufacturing eight runs...in 2010 named to Atlantic District All-Tournament Team, in 2009 was All-Southern Conference First Team and FCCAA and NJCAA All-Conference First Team honoree, a Miami Dade College Academic Achievement Award winner...helped lead MDC to a 2010 Triple Crown Championship and Puerto Rico Cup Championship while being named the tournament[apos]s best hitter.
High School:
Four year letterwinner in softball at Homestead High School under coach Ozzy Anzley...attended Robert Morgan Educational Center...as a senior hit at a .521 clip...named to the 2008 All-Dade Team and recipient of the United State Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete Award and Ford Motor Company Salute to Education Athletic Scholarship.

Daughter of Tammy and Manuel Lara...has one brother, Alex...majoring in exercise science.
