Kayla DeSchepper joined the Marshall softball staff as a Graduate Student Manager in October 2019. Prior to joining the staff, she played softball at Hampton University from 2013-2018.
DeSchepper earned her Bachelor's of Science in Cellular & Molecular Biology from Hampton University in 2018. She has her Master's of Science in Biomedical Research from Marshall and is currently working on her Biomedical Research PH.D. at the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine.
DeSchepper is originally from Denver, Colorado.
She has a beagle named Homer who was rescued at Dot Hicks Field by the coaching staff in 2020.
