2023-24 (Graduate): Leaves Marshall as one of the most decorated athletes of all-time ... Competed in 12 meets in final season, setting (and re-setting) six personal and school records ... Won Gold in both the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championship 5K (16:06.64) and the SBC Outdoor Championship 5K (16:26.29) ... First Team All-Conference Indoor and Outdoor ... Qualified for the NCAA Championships East First Round by way of a 33:08.07 at the Raleigh Relays ... Won six events and placed in an additional six events.
2022-23 (Senior): Competed in nine meets in her season, and, despite injury set several indoor at outdoor school records ... Shattered the school indoor 3K record with a 9:47.40 to win the Marshall Classic ... Additionally won the 1000 at the Brant Tolmsa Invitational with a 2:54.06 ... Finished second in the DMR and fifth in the mile at the Sun Belt Indoor Championships ... Came back from injury in Outdoor and set three additional personal records in the outdoor 3K, 5K, and 10K, setting three school records in the process ... Raced a 17:02.48 at the Jesse Owens Classic in teh 5K ... Raced a 9:25.08 at the Music City Challenge in the 3K ... Raced a 35:07.74 at the Sun Belt Outdoor Championships
2021-22 (Junior): Competed in 13 meets her junior season, setting multiple new school indoor and outdoor records...Opened season with a pair of second place finishes at the Marshall women's classic, followed by a pair of wins in the 800 and 1000 in the Keydet Invitational...Set PR, and new school record in the mile at the C-USA Indoor Championships Prelims, racing a 4:56.80, followed performance up with a 5:03.28 mile finals time with a tenth place finish...Set three consecutive outdoor PR's in the 3,000 (9:54.72), 800 (2:16.76), and 1500 (4:27.54)...the 1500 time set a new school record...Finished sixth in the 1500 finals at the C-USA Outdoor Championships.

2020-21 (Sophomore): Her strong season was highlighted by breaking the school record by over five seconds in the 1500 meter at the C-USA Outdoor Championships, running in 4:32.84 to break Varinka Barbini’s 2004 time of 4:37.99 … also was part of the school record breaking Distance Medley Relay squad at the C-USA Indoor Championships which earned All-C-USA honors … her personal record set in the outdoor 5000m of 17:15.56 at the Charlotte Invitational ranks 2nd in program history … earned 10 top-10 finishes throughout the season … named to the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and awarded the C-USA Academic Medal for achieving a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or better.
2019-20 (Freshman): Had an impressive indoor campaign in which she ran the fastest 1000m, Mile, and 3000m times for Marshall as a freshman … fastest Mile (5:04.76) and 3000m (10:27.05) times came at the Conference USA Indoor Championships … her mile time was the 2nd-fastest time in school history … top 1000m time came at the Keydet Invitational with a time of 3:03.34 … earned three top-five finishes, and was part of the winning DMR team at the Thundering Herd Invitational … part of the DMR team at the C-USA Indoor Championships which ran the 3rd-fastest time in school history … named to the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and awarded the C-USA Academic Medal for achieving a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or better … Outdoor season canceled due to Covid-19.
Prior to Marshall: Herring joins the Marshall University Cross Country/Track teams after completing a successful senior season. In 2018, she narrowly missed all-state honors by finishing 12th at the WVSSAC AAA State Cross Country Meet, but did receive first-team all-conference honors in the TRAC and OVAC Meets, as well as first-team all-region. In 2015, Herring finished fourth at the WVSSAC Cross Country state meet, receiving all-state honors. In track, she qualified for the state track meet in the 1600 and 4x800.
