Kennedi Colclough was elevated to the position of assistant director of operations with the Marshall women’s basketball team following a successful career on the court with the Thundering Herd. Colclough graduated from Stetson University with a B.A. in Communications and Media Studies before graduating from Marshall with an M.A in Leadership Studies.
"I am grateful to receive this position and excited to take on this new role with the team." Colclough said. "I love this program and believe in what we want to get accomplished. Marshall has a special place in my heart and I'm excited to continue being a part of the Herd women's basketball family."
In 2022-23, Colclough oversaw all external operations for the program, including marketing and promotions initiatives, as well as all postgame media availability with Head Coach Tony Kemper. She is also the creative coordinator for the team, overseeing all social media platforms. Additionally, she is the community outreach liaison organizing and leading programs throughout the community.
Colclough joined Marshall as a redshirt senior for the 2020-21 season. With the Herd, Colclough started all 43 games she appeared in, averaging over 10 points per game in nearly 30 minutes per game.
Prior to arriving in Huntington, to play for the same university her father, LaVorn played football for, Colclough had an effective tenure at Stetson University, appearing in 47 contests, including a 23-point, 13-rebound performance in Stetson's win over Florida.
Colclough earned Maryland Basketball Coaches Association public school All-State Girls first team honors for Class 3A/4A as a senior at Arundel High School in Crofton, MD and was nominated to play in McDonald’s All-American Game.
