SENIORÂ SEASON (2025-26):
Abbey competed in nine of 10 events for the Herd in her senior season, finishing with an 80.9 stroke average in her 26 rounds of action. Her top scoring round came in the opening round of the 2026 Mountain View Collegiate, when she logged a 1-over 73. She earned 13th place finish in the Tribe Invitational to start the year, helping the Herd to a second-place finish in the event. Â
JUNIOR SEASON (2024-25):
Abbey competed in all 10 events for the Herd in the 2024-25 season, finishing with a 77.4 stroke average across her 30 rounds of action. Her best performance of the year came in the fall at the UNCG Invitational when she earned a T-13 finish after carding consecutive Even-par rounds of 72 to end the tournament. That was one of two top-20 finishes Abbey had on the season with the other coming in the spring at the RiverTowne Invitational where she ended T-20. Abbey also shot a final round 72 (+1) to help her earn a T-26 finish at the Golfweek/Stifel Spring Challenge.Â
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2023-24): Abbey competed in nine of 10 events for the Herd in the 2023-24 year, finishing with a stroke average of 77.7. In Spring 2024, her best finish came at the 2024 SBC Tournament when she finished T-40, which included a 73 in her second round of action. Abbey also finished 45th at the River Landing Classic.In Fall 2023, Abbey competed in all five events for the team. Her best round of the season was a final round 72 at the Butler Fall Invitational in which she carded three birdies to help the Herd finish with low final round of the tournament, which led to a third-place finish for the team. Also had three other rounds of 73 on the season. Earned a Top-20 finish when she was T-18 at the Butler Fall Invitational. She also led Marshall with seven birdies at the FBCI Invitational to end the fall season.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2022-23): Abbey competed in all 10 events as a freshman for the Herd, finishing the year with a stroke average of 78.3 in 29 rounds of competition. In 10 events, Abbey notched three-20 finishes, including her best effort coming in the season-opening Jennifer Duke Invitational where she finished T-6 to lead the team to a 2nd place finish. Abbey also finished T-12 at the Grandover Fall Classic and T-19 at the Pirate Collegiate Classic where she had her best round of the year - an Even-par 72 - in the opening round. Her best round in the Spring was a 2-over 74 at the GCU Invitational.
HERD FILE: A native of Sydney, Australia, Abbey said her top sports highlight was shooting back-to-back rounds under par for the first time at her home course to place 2nd in a tough field during an Australian female event. Parents are Beth and Brendan Bull. Abbey came to Marshall because "the opportunity to play Division I golf in a different country and create opportunities for myself through my sport with the connections/relationships built."
